We’re proud to celebrate Joanne Prinsloo, Vice President at First National Bank, as one of York County’s 2026 Ones to Watch honorees.

A lifelong member of the York County community, Joanne has spent more than a decade serving local businesses through her work in banking and economic development. Since joining First National Bank in 2024 as Market Executive, she has continued building strong relationships across York County, the Upstate, and South Charlotte while helping businesses grow and thrive.

Joanne’s leadership extends far beyond her professional success. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation (RHEDC) and Chair of its Investment and Development Committee, where she works alongside community leaders to support business recruitment, retention, and long-term economic growth in Rock Hill. Having been involved with RHEDC since 2017, she is also next in line to serve as Chair of the organization.

Her dedication to the community is equally evident through her longtime involvement with Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen, where she has served in multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer. Since 2019, Joanne has helped support the organization’s mission of providing hot lunches to community members six days a week, while also assisting with fundraising efforts and nonprofit partnerships throughout the region.

Professionally, Joanne continues to excel. In 2025, she earned her company’s “Rising Star MVP” award, finished the first quarter ranked among the bank’s top performers, and grew her portfolio by 11%, surpassing her annual goals.

Whether she’s supporting local businesses, strengthening economic development efforts, or serving organizations that care for the community’s most vulnerable, Joanne leads with passion, consistency, and a deep commitment to York County.

Joanne Prinsloo is a dedicated leader, community advocate, and truly One to Watch.
