Andrew Carlson

After twelve years of service as a pilot in the United States Air Force, Andrew Carlson has brought the same commitment to excellence and service to York County. Following his military career, he transitioned into residential contracting, earning the trust of clients across the region, and now serves with J.M. Cope, a community-focused commercial construction firm. In his role, Andrew manages people and processes to deliver quality building projects while building lasting relationships.

Andrew’s dedication to community runs deep. He volunteers weekly at First ARP Church Rock Hill, serves with Just Joy Ministries, and supports Rock Hill public schools, where two of his four children attend. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Andrew led a grassroots relief effort, organizing supplies across multiple church networks and delivering them himself to families in Western North Carolina — including his own hometown.

He is also a passionate advocate for students and service members, supporting both the Clemson Corps and ClemsonLIFE program. Whether mentoring future military officers, advocating for inclusive education, or quietly leading in his community, Andrew Carlson is a shining example of servant leadership — and truly one to watch.
