
EPIC Week is an exclusive, immersive experience designed to challenge and inspire the Catawba Region’s next generation of leaders. This hands-on program connects high school students with local business leaders, real-world challenges, and interactive learning experiences to foster leadership, collaboration, and innovation.

Applicant Criteria
EPIC Week is open to students who are:
- rising Juniors or Seniors attending any public, private, or charter high school in York, Lancaster, or Chester County.
- at least 16 years old as of July 1, 2025.
- available to fully participate in all EPIC Week sessions including:
- Mon, July 14 - Thurs, July 17, 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday, July 15 - 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM
Application Process & Selection
- Apply Online: Apply here or through your school’s guidance office.
- Deadline: All applications must be submitted by May 2, 2025.
- Selection Process: Applicants will be notified of their status by May 16, 2025.
- Program Capacity: A maximum of 20 students will be selected.
- Registration Fee: A $100 program fee is required upon acceptance. If accepted, students may apply for a fee waiver to be awarded based on demonstrated need.
Program Highlights
Each day of EPIC Week is designed to push boundaries and encourage problem-solving through:
- EPIC Challenges! Work in teams with business mentors to analyze and solve real-world business challenges presented by industry leaders.
- Exclusive Business Tours that provide a behind-the-scenes look at York County’s top industries.
- Leadership & Team-Building Workshops to develop essential skills for success.
Lunch and light refreshments provided daily!
Daily Meeting Location: York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, 116 E. Main Street, Rock Hill.
Attendance Policy
- Attendance and active participation at all five EPIC Week sessions is required.
- Participants meeting all attendance requirements will receive a digital badge credential and the EPIC Week Certificate of Completion.
Transportation
- Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the central meeting location.
- Group travel by bus is provided for all scheduled business site visits.
- No personal vehicles are permitted during program hours.
Dress Code
- Casual, professional attire is recommended.
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes required (no flip-flops).
- Not permitted: Bare midriff, sleeveless shirts, or inappropriate-length shorts/skirts.
- Remember: You’ll be engaging with community leaders—dress accordingly!
