The Rock Hill Area Council will host the Rock Hill Education Awards Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at The Connection, 2538 W. Main St. The annual event will honor Chamber member organizations that make significant contributions in providing quality education to the community. | RSVP by Nov. 21 to attend Legislative Breakfast |
The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its 2008 Legislative Breakfast at 8 a.m. Nov. 25 at the City Club of Rock Hill, 140 E. Main St., Rock Hill. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. All members of the York County Legislative Delegation have been invited to participate in a question and answer session, while U.S. Rep. John Spratt and others will speak in regards to legislative issues facing the business community. Last year’s event drew more than 100 York County business leaders. | Holiday Drop In Celebration in Fort Mill |
The Fort Mill/Tega Cay Holiday Drop-In will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at the newly renovated Clebourne House on Clebourne Street in Fort Mill. The presenting sponsor for the event is Piedmont Medical Center.
Donations to the Fort Mill Care Center will be accepted for admission. Donations can be made payable by cash, check or credit card. Gift cards to local grocery stores also will be accepted.
